YUDANSHA AWARDING HELD AT
SOUTHSIDE DOJO Yudansha certificates
were awarded last Saturday June 3, 2007 at the
Southside Dojo in Las Piñas City. Congratulations to those who
passed the yudansha examination which was held last
May 5, 2007 at the Makiling Aikido Dojo in Los Baños,
Laguna. The new Shodan (1st Dan) is William
Jeffrey Rañola from Naga, Bicol dojo and the new Nidans (2nd Dan)
are Ramiro
Vergara and Carlo
Martin Guevarra of Southside Las Piñas
dojo and Abdurahman Ogues
of Saudi Arabia dojo.

BPI FAMILY BANK DOJO VISITS
PHILIPPINE HEART CENTER DOJO
The March 28, 2007 soire was part of
an agreement by Raffy Ravago Sensei of Makiling BPI
Dojo and Cris Buenaseda Sensei of Philippine Heart
Center Dojo to strengthen the ties of Aikido
Philippines Dojos through unified training.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEW
YUDANSHAS Congratulations to
those who have taken and passed the examination during
the 15th year anniversary "gusshuku".
The new Shodans (1st Dan) are Raymond
Zapirain, Daniel
Panuncio, Ariel
Anciano, Hannibal
Taguiang and Joseph
Dominic Martinez. The yudansha
certificates and cards were awarded last October 28,
2006 at Southside Dojo in Las Piñas City.

MAKILING AIKIDO
15th YEAR ANNIVERSARY, A SUCCESS!
Congratulations
and thank you to the members and invited guests for the unity and
cooperation that made the celebration of our 15th
founding anniversary a success.
The first Makiling Aikido "Gusshuku"
or live in seminar was held last September 15 to 17,
2006 at the Monte Vista Hot Springs and Conference
Resort at Pansol, Calamba, Laguna. Our theme... One
Makiling.
We
would like to extend our deepest gratitude to
Takanori
Kuribayashi Shihan (6thDan) Instructor
at the Aikikai Foundation, Hombu Dojo, Tokyo, Japan
and to the prescence of Mutsuku Minegishi (6thDan) Chief Instructor of Saipan Aikikai and Guam
Aikikai.
