The
name Makiling
was
taken from the mountain
MT.
MARIA MAKILING
located at Los
Baños, Laguna Philippines.
Xavier Baylon and Manolo Villegas are friends in the Makati Aikido Club. Manolo
Villegas Sensei
established Los Baños Aikido dojo in 1991. Xavier
Baylon Sensei
established
Makiling Southside Aikido dojo
at Las
Piñas, City Philippines a year after.
Expanding ever since,
Makiling Aikido International has been
training and producing Yudanshas
who have established their own dojos
and propagated Aikido locally and abroad.
